In this program, we will look at some of the basic beliefs regarding Jesus as presented in both the Bible and Mormon teachings to reveal the vast differences that exist. As we do, we’ll find the answers to some of the questions generally held about Mormons about Jesus and a clear picture of what the Bible teaches about the biblical gospel and where the Christian’s allegiance must stand.

I find it very interesting that the LDS, a cult, want’s to deceive everyone into believing they are Christians. From the git go with Smith, he also ran for presidency. What better way to deceive every Christian into believing LDS is just another Christian Church and will willingly convert to Mormonism. Now we had George Romney, born in Mexico, running for the presidency and his mormonism was ignored, so we got Obama, a Muslim. Now we have Bishop Williard Romney running and spending millions of Mormon money running, yet few will even take the time to take a quick study of Mormonism and the goals of the LDS; to increase membership.
Missing too is how the Mormons stole the Queen of Hawaii’s land through an illicit marriage. Check out that history line.
If you are a Christian and you follow Jesus Christ, ask any Mormon who there Jesus really is and you will find they think he is the brother of Satan! Ask them who God is and they will call him God head and all Mormons are God; especially the ruling powers of the LDS.
Finally someone needs to really take a good look at how Utah became the site for the Olympics and Bishop Romney was chosen to head that; ignoring Washington and Colorado!
Ignorance is unchristian! Read, look, question and stop the LDS from gaining the WH regardless of how much money they throw into it.

Oh, I forgot to mention this: Why will NO Mormon agree with the Apostles Creed or Nicene Creed IF they say they are Christian?

I want to thank you as well for having the courage to stand and speak the truth about Mormonism. I was a card carrying, “temple worthy” Mormon for 13 years. I held many callings in the church from Primary teacher to Stake Missionary and not once did I teach a lesson about accepting Jesus Christ and the work he did on the cross for us. For the Mormon it’s always about the religion, about doing things because you’re a member of the church and this is want you do, but having a relationship with Jesus Christ is nowhere to be found. I’m not talking about a generic type of relationship they seem to have of just know of him, but at real loving and living relationship with the one who paid it all. I pray God will use your program to bring Mormons to the cross and to know they can be freed from the heavy burden this religion has placed on their shoulders.

Melissa,
I am so sorry for you and your misguided direction from the truth, but I will continue to pray for you and your family and know that Heavenly Father understands that sometimes we fall short of our eternal goals, but when you find your way back, I know He will gladly welcome you with open and loving arms. He is such a loving and forgiving God and realizes how hard Satan is working to decieve even his strongest members. Sometimes life can be difficult and we lose our way, but with prayer and determination, those that wander astray can find their way back to their eternal home. I pray you will be one of the fortunate ones. You have given up so much!

John, thank you so much for having the courage to tell the truth about Mormonism. I was a devout, temple-recommend holding Mormon for 26 years, holding many callings (church positions) of responsibility during that time and raising ten children. I served in the children’s ministry (called Primary) for 7 years and taught Relief Society (women’s ministry) for 6 years. I served my last year in the LDS Church as the Relief Society President before finding the true God and true gospel of the Bible. Since leaving Mormonism I have been redeemed by the blood of Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) and have the peace that passes all understanding! Through study, fasting, prayer, and research, I came to understand that Mormonism is NOT biblical and leads many precious souls away from the real God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Salvation does not come through belonging to a specific organization. It comes from knowing the Lord Jesus Christ and receiving His redemption through His shed blood on the Cross. The “true church” is comprised of those who have been redeemed and are trusting solely in Jesus for their salvation. Church membership or affiliation is not required. John, keep on reaching out to the lost with the truth. Freida, and other LDS people reading this, I plead with you out of love and concern to do the research. Ask yourself this; If Mormonism isn’t true, would I want to know? Your answer will determine where your heart is. Is it bound up in a belief system that you WANT to be true and would be afraid if it wasn’t? Or is your heart determined to seek truth even if it means you’ve been wrong all your life? Someone asked me that question about three months before I left the church. My first response was no, I would not want to know if the church wasn’t true. But after thinking about it I realized that truth is what’s real and if I didn’t know the truth about God and the gospel then in reality I had nothing. Where you spend eternity depends on what God we serve. Please think about it.

Tracy, I was once in the same place you are today. Outside the true church desperately searching for the truth. I spent several years attending another christian faith regularly and was considered a very strong member, but then something wonderful happened to me. I approached my minister and asked him some very important questions, ( at least they were important to me). The answer I received was that these were mysteries of God, and that I needed to forget about these questions, because I would heap condemnation on my soul. It was important to fear God and His wrath. (I hope Mark approves of my typing) This caused me to start looking in other faiths and then I inquired to a family friend, who was a devout Mormon these same questions, and guess what? They not only could answer them, but they showed me the answers in the BIBLE!!!! How about that? Not the Book of Mormon, now why couldn’t that minister not do that? I can tell you why, because by only having the Bible, he didn’t recognize the answers were there. I am sorry that you feel that you were not taught the important things about the Savior, when we don’t recieve the messages that are being sent to us through others it is usually because we are so caught up in ourselves that the Holy Ghost can’t get through to us. I have a relationship with my savior that I can’t even begin to share with others, because it goes so deeply to my soul. I have heard His voice in desperate times of my life, during the death of a loved one, and felt His presence offering peace and comfort that I will be with that person again. For me to deny what I know would truly be blasphemous and unforgiving. I will gladly die for my testimony of Jesus Christ and His work upon this earth. I am glad that you are happy with your new found religion, and hope that you continue so, but I do feel that someday, when time grows short and you have the desire to have your eternal family, you will return to the correct principles and the Lord will be there to accept you with open arms. I will continue to pray for you and your family until that day comes.

Freda, if you are a christian and I am one, can I as a fellow christian go into a mormon temple? The answer is no, you have to qualify to enter. You are free to enter any church without qualifying. So there is a difference.

Nelson, Very few members of the LDS church actually qualify to attend the temple. The Temple is the sacred House of the Lord and is not used for general worship service, it has specal duties that are completed in the temple, so to be able to participate you must be a worthy member of the LDS church. These qualifications include a membership of no less than a year, a full tithe payer, strict obedience to the Word of Wisdom, no coffedd, tea, alcohol, smoking, drugs (except prescriptions). You must be morally clean, no premarital sex, no adultery, no homosexuality, no sexual promiscuity of any kind. You must be living a good christian life and you must have a testimony of the church and be obedient to the ten commandments as well as the General authorities of the church. The Lord has told us in the scriptures that no unclean things can enter into heaven, and we feel that our temples are as close to heaven on earth as anything can be. You are more than welcome to atten any of our local wards, where we have our regular meetings and we would be thrilled to have you.
I was a member of the LDS church for 3 years before I entered into the temple and I testify to you that it was the most beautiful and uplifting experience of my life. I have had the wonderful opportunity to go many times since, and have felt the presence of Lord while there in those sacred halls. We think of the temple as a piece of heaven on earth, and that is why we are required to live the covenants that have been given us through bibical scripture and modern day revelation. You see, if we cannot live the lower laws of the ten commandments how can we enter into the House of Lord, make more covenants and be able to live them also? So don’t take not being able to go to our temples so personally. If you are willing to do the things that I have stated above you can go the temple at some point, the first step would be to meet with the missionaries, learn of the gospel, accept the gospel, repent of your sins, be baptized by immersion by the proper priesthood authority, and recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost, and continue to live the commandments, then you will eventually recieve the blessings of the temple.
Many people have found my religion very difficult to live and some who have tried have failed miserably and want to blame their failures on the religion itself. I personally was already living most of the tenets before I knew that it existede, so when the opportunity came, I was able to recognise the truth and make it part of my life. I will be happy to answer questions about my faith for anyone anytime.

Frieda-
Jim Jones held the same stance about his cult. You really need to get inside the Holy Bible and find out what God really had to say to us about false prophets and religions. Christ truly died for our salvation because He knew we couldn’t do it on our own. John 14:6 says it is through Christ, not a prophet. If you don’t believe the Holy Bible, why do you carry it around? God’s word is forever. I see no mention in the Bible about God having parents. I see no mention about polygamy for salvation (D&C 132). You can defend your cult until your death, it makes no difference. God will judge you for your love of idols and false Gods. May God have mercy on your soul and all the lost false religions. By the way, Christ’s church is not a building or a religion. It is a relatioship with Him. We do not need a prophet or church to save us. 15 years of that religion my chains grew heavy. I prayed, fasted and studied and God revealed the truth to me. I was fairly happy as a mormon out to please men, but now I am free, amazingly happy, and only serving God in all I do! The Truth has set me free!

Hey Mark, who are my idols and my false prophets? I really would like to know, because I only have picture of the Savior in my home. Who do you have pictures of and who do you worship? I have received by testimony through my own personal study and prayer, no because some television minister told me what to believe. I was once on the outside looking in and now recognize what the “truth” really is. I think that if you are happy in your belief and you have peace of mind, then that is wonderful, but don’t go tearing down another’s religion because you don’t agree with it. This is still the Land of the Free, where we are supposed to be tolerant of other’s and their beliefs. Whether you ever accept my relgious beliefs or not, is immaterial, my eternal salvation is not pertinent to yours, at least not according to what I have read these past few days, so leave us alone and work on your own eternal salvation. We don’t force ourselves on you, if the missionaries come to your door, please feel free to send them on their way, there are way too many people searching for the truth and will recognize them as messengers of the truth. These devoted missionaries have far too much work to do, to be wasting their time on those such as you. May the Lord continue to bless you in your personal strivings to return to Him.

Thank you for your ministry. Currently, it is SO timely regarding Mormons. I am praying that many will hear your message so that we will not have a Morman in the Oval Office. I had known all along there was ‘something’ wrong with Mitt, but could not put my finger on it. Now I know after watching your show and the three people there. What an affront to my Christ Jesus and His grace and the cross. So many are fooled. Thank you for your hard work. I am homebound and find that only you and Dave Reading and a few others are not of the darkness and can watch. Thank you for being there and speading the gospel correctly. God will surely bless you for your hard work on His behalf and those who love Him and HIs soon coming. Wanda Godfrey
PS. I don’t understand how anyone could believe this mess. I think I could believe in David Korish or Jim Jones before this Morman junk. Surely, it is just because people think it is a ligitimate church. I sure hope so.

Disciples of Satan? Funny comment from one that is in a relgion that professes to become as Gods in their new world. You might read Genesis Chapter 3 where Satan tells Eve she can be like Gods. The first lie is carried on through the LDS church. Your work for the dead is just plain evil. Do you really think God can’t take care of the dead? He created the universe, I think He can handle spirits on the other side. Christ taught us to love one another. We do this by serving one another not wasting our time on genelogy and baptisms for dead people. If you truly knew yor scriptures and had a real relationship with God, you wouldn’t be so blinded by Satan’s deception.

Mark, I am so grateful to know that those that never had the opportunity to be taught about the Savior or to accept his teachings will be given the chance. You see, the scriptures tell us that Jesus was perfect in the eyes of God, but yet he set the example to for all of us, by being baptized and then overacme death by dying on the cross. According to a prior religious affiliation, when I expressed concern about the people who had died without ever hearing the wonderful gift that the Savior had given us, the minister informed me that these people were considered lost souls and would go to Hell. If that is the Jesus that you beleive in, then I know I don’t want to follow him. My Jesus is a loving and kind savior, who cares about each and every one of us and offers a way for each of us. We are supposed to be a Christian nation full of love and tolerance, not one that is so full of hate and prejudice and judgemental of others. If you were to ever attend one of our church meetings or watch our general conferences on television, you wouldn’t see or hear any preaching about the wickedness of other churches, instead all you would hear is about the life and the love of the Savior. These apostates that write such terrible things about the Mormon church are probably nothing more than angry because they committed some moral sin and were given the opportunity to repent, but instead chose to follow another road. I pity them and will pray for them, because it might be ok now, but when they are approaching the end of their mortal lives, they will ask for forgiveness and return to the church. I have seen this happen so many times. As I have stated, you will know the true church by their fruits.

— Whatever the mormons think they are Christ alone followers – I do not believe it b/c they are like Catholics, Shintons, etc., worship idols. 1st Commandment: no images! who ever saying follows Christ of the Bible and has on the side – idols/images “other gods” it is not biblical by a long shot! I became a Christian 6 months ago — and I’ve been learning a lot: religious beliefs vs. Biblical truth…, and as the bible states: many would come in my name. I think the mormons forgot about the last book of Revelations — do not add or remove from the Bible… . Holy Spirit work on them — to open up their blindness to the gospel of the bible… and not of the book of mormon… Amen

Obviously you are not a bible scholar because if you were you would know that the Book of Revelations was not the last book written and the Books of the Bible are not necessarily in chronological order. The sentence that you refer to is for Revelations only, and was in accordance to the Book of Revelations only. The Mormons have never added anything to the Book of Revelations. They believe the Bible to be the word of God in as far as it is correctly translated, but they understand that there are books missing from the original Bible, taken out by the Catholic church many, many years ago. There are also many different versions of the Bible, that have been translated by man,not God. The bible speaks of other scriptures that are important for us to use in our study of the Gospel, It tells us that we should “take up the stick of Judah and the stick of Joseph and they shall be one in hand. Now if you have any knowledge than you know the original scriptures were originally written on papyrus and then rolled up and were called sticks. The Stick of Judah refers to the Bible, because it is the story of the tribe of Judah, (you do beleive that Christ was a jew, right?) and the stick of Joseph is the Book of Mormon, ( these people were descendents from the tribe of Joseph, (coat of many colors, Israel’s son). For this reason the Mormons beleive that the Book of Mormon which was translated by the power of God is to be used as a second witness of Jesus Christ, as a companion to the Bible. If you truly want the truth and have confirmation of this than instead of listening to those in league with the devil, you need to read both book and then pray about them. Remember when Christ arose from the dead and visiting his desciples, he told them that he had other sheep that were not of this flock that he would visit. These sheep are the people in the Book of Mormon. It is a beautiful and moving story that will bring you great peace. It also explains why many hundreds of years later when the explorers such as Hernando Cortez, Balboa, Ponce de Leon were greeted by the ancient americans and thought that he was the great white god Quatselquatel that had visited their ancestors and promised to return again someday. I have never met another minister who could explain so beautifully how these legends came to be. I prayed and received confirmation that this is true and will pray that you will do the same. Time is short and the Savior will be returning soon. Now is the time to prepare and make sure that your lantern is full, for when the bridegroom returns.

Freida, with all due respect, I encourage you to find some reliable commentary of the Hebrew Scriptures (what non-Jews call the Old Testament) and a Hebrew/Greek lexicon (like Strong’s Concordance) to see what the words in our English Bibles meant in their original languages. I also encourage you to read Scripture in context. The whole context of Ezekiel 37 is the joining of the Northern and Southern Tribes of Israel. It has nothing to do with the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Verse 22 explains, “I will make them one nation…and they shall no more be two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms anymore at all.” As a side note, Torah scrolls were primarily written on lamb or goat skins for their durability and longevity. There are no books missing from the Bible. Just because a book is mentioned doesn’t mean it was intended to be in there. If I write a book and make reference to the Encyclopedia Britannica, does that mean I have to include the Encyclopedia in my book? Of course not. There are many reliable books available that tell how we got our Bible; how the individual books were chosen and why some were rejected. I recommend Josh McDowell’s book The New Evidence that Demands a Verdict. Brigham Young stated in one of his sermons that the Hill Cumorah in New York in which Joseph Smith allegedly found the Gold Plates had many wagon loads of other plates and writings by ancient prophets. Does this mean the Book of Mormon is missing books? Same logic. One small point; the correct title is the Book of Revelation (singular) NOT Revelations (plural). That’s a common misnomer, but you seemed to be criticizing Enrique for his lack of scholarship while you yourself made some errors. One last thing; Joseph Smith DID add to the Book of Revelation. You can find these changes in D & C 77 and in the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible (also included in the footnotes of your LDS Bible).

It is amazing to me how a mormon will get on a Christian site and defend their church to the end. It shows just how important their church is and how the Christ portion of it really isn’t that important. John Ankerberg and company defend Christianity not a religion. Mormons slam Christians and in the same breath claim to be Christian. They defend their religion by saying that God’s Word is incorrect. This is just another reason that they are blasphemous liars. They carry the Bible even though they do not believe in it. They defend the creator of their religion, who certainly was no man of God. A man of God does not tell his wife in public doctrine (D&C 132) that she will go to hell if she doesn’t allow him to marry other women. This is a man who married a 14 year-old and other men’s wives. A man who said dark skin was a curse. A man who said he was more able than Christ to run a church (Journal of Discourses). Please find this stuff in the Bible or the Book of Mormon, not that the Book of Mormon has any value. Why does a mormon come on here when there are plenty of mormon sites for them to vent? Frieda brags about the church wealth. Wow, God is impressed with that one. Kind of like the Jews in the Old Testament times. Christ had to come back to tell them they had it all wrong. Frieda-I may not be biblically strong, since the LDS church kept me away from it for 15 years, but I am a biblical scholar now. You correct Enrique, but you continue to use un-capitalized letters to address God. When referring to God we capitalize the first letter, as in Him. Of course, respect for our only God, isn’t a mormon practice. See, I know this from my many years in it. Hey, we are still looking for evidence of the great Book of Mormon. Have you found any yet? Oh, and scholarly speaking, the book of Revelation was the last book that John wrote around 95AD. That was the last book written in the only Word of God. The stick of Judah is not the Book of Mormon. By all your comments, you have completely told all Christians just how blind and deceived your religion is. I was wondering why they would allow your comments on here. Now I know. Thank goodness for your church that your comments aren’t official church doctrine. Funny, a week ago I tried to get a Christian editorial placed on Salt Lake’s KSL and they denied it, obviously because KSL is LDS church owned. They don’t like the truth in mormon media, but Christians allow your lies on their sites to show just how deceived you are. So keep the comments flowing. We would love to hear more about what your false prophets have taught you. In Christ (God), Mark

Mark, I love sharing my testimony with anyone, especially when they are so negative and ignorant as you. You keep listening to paid ministers, who wear their $4,000.00 suits and spend TV time, asking for money in the name of the Lord. They don’t do what they are doing for the love of the Lord, but instead for the love of money. The reason why these ministers preach against the Mormon church is because it is taking away members of their congregation and thereby affecting their “paychecks”. In my church no callings are paid callings. We serve the Lord because we love Him and want to share that love with others. Our only payment is from the spiritual blessings that we recieve. By the way, you have no right to say we are not Christian, by your words only you have shown that my church and the members, excuse the righteous members practice christianity than you and your so-called christians on this web-site. I am just as entitled to write my comments on this web site as you are, and will continue to do so, until they block my email address. If you don’t like what I have to say than ignore it, or does it bother you so much that maybe I could be right and it scares you? I feel that I need to present the “other side” of Mormonism, because of people such as yourself who feel the need to try and destroy something so wonderful by your misconceptions and misunderstandings. If you were ever a member of the church and now feel you have found the way back to the Lord, than you didn’t have a very good understanding of the teachings, and we all know that you don’t feed a baby meat until they have teeth, so you are probably right, you need to be where you are and recieve the milk, I will continue to pray for you that you may someday be ready to recieve the meat, but I know that because of the gospel plan, if you don’t accept it in this life, you wil be given the opportunity in the spirit world and hopefully there will be a relative here on earth who has accepted the gospel and will be willing to go to the temple and do your work for you.

Tracy, thank you for your insight into the scriptures. I don’t agree, because I have studied the scriptures and actually took several classes on religion in college (not an LDS college) as well as my own independent study and the things that I have told you are factural. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, just like Abraham, Noah, etc, and there is a prophet on earth today, his name is Thomas S. Monson. You see, I know that the Lord loves us as much as He loves the people of the bible, and understands that we need guidance and direction just as much as they did. This web site proves that Satan is alive and well and that is why God has provided us with someone to continue to lead us back to Him. If ou want to kinow about the lost books of the bible then you need to study about the Catholic religion or ask a catholic priest. There were books that were held back from public use because the church did not feel that the people were ready for the teachings of the books. The bible has been revised many times and re-written many times, if you don’t believe me than go into any “Christian” book store and see all the different bibles there for sale. No wonder there are so many different religious beliefs, all those bibles. You still did not explain where the stick of Joseph is. I agree with you about the nations, but we wouldn’t have the information regarding the nation of Joseph if we deidn’t have the Book of Mormon and that is why we teach and study with both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. They are both witnesses of Jesus Christ. The old testament is the preparation of the jews for the coming of the messiah and the new testament is the story of the birth, life and teachings of the Savior with regards to his 3 year ministry. According to Christ’s genealogy, he cmae from the tribe of Judah. I am sure that you will agree with that. So we have the full gospel with both books.

I watched you show this past Sunday evening about the Mormon religion and their beliefs. Totally unbelievable. But then again not. I have been guiding Bible studies for over 30 years. I am doing 2 Bible studies a week now. Ever since I got into to studying the Bible and learned God’s truth about Him, Jesus & the Holy Spirit, Recieving Him into my life; my whole life has been trying to get people to know the TRUTH. We as Christians must do what we can to get that truth to other people. AS I listened to the 3 people who were on the show and heard their finding the TRUTH made me so happy and my heart went out to them. Keep on showing the world what and who the TRUTH really is. May God continue to bless you. In Christ’s name. Amen

Iam sure that you feel you are doing the right thing by sharing this information with others and I am so glad that we will be judged by the things that we have in our heart, but be careful that you don’t continue to share information that those in league with Satan and lead those who are searching for truth, into deception. The bible is not the only truth out there, it is not complete due to many translations and omission over the past two centuries. God loves us and would not leave us without the possibility of having the whole truth. He has provided another scripture to serve as a second witness to Jesus Christ and fill in the missing information that has been lost throughout the years. This Book is the Book of Mormon and testifies that Jesus is the Christ and by teaching the principles of the Bible and the Book of Mormon together as the Lord would have us do, You are then teaching the complete gospel. Don’t fall into the quagmire that Satan has prepared and his desciples continue to lead good people into. Jesus is the Christ and He loves you and wants you to know the truth, the whole truth. Seek it and He will show you the way. Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing. I have been where you are now, and what a wonderful peace I have now that I have the whole truth. I will pray for you.
