Hi everyone! This is a really interesting conversation so far. But I’d like to just ask Frieda one question.

How can a person be saved?

    • Frieda says:

I would be very happy to answer that question for you. Salvation is a gift to all men who beleive in Jesus Christ as the Savior and accepted His sacrifice for us by two things. The first was when He bled through every pore of His body in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He suffered greatly for the sins of the world, and secondly when he gave up His life on the cross and three days later took it up again thereby, overcoming death for us all.

Exaltation, is another thing that we should all be striving for. While salvation gets out foot in door of heaven. The scriptures tell us that there are many mansions in heaven, and the mansion that we will recieve will be dependent on not only our belief in the Lord, but on our good works, obedience, and faith. This is the part we all must earn. I for one don’t want to just get in the door, but I want to achieve the highest level possible so that I cant eternally dwell within the presence of my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Christ.

Hi Frieda, thanks for your reply. Sorry for the delay, but I did not receive an email notification that you had responded, so I had to remember to come back and check the page.

I have a couple of questions just to make sure I completely understand what you believe.

Do you believe that at the time a person puts her faith in Jesus as Lord, she is justified by His blood, receives forgiveness of sins, her name is written in the Lamb’s book of life, and she will spend eternity in heaven — whatever “level” of heaven that is?

Also, you mentioned that “salvation gets our foot in the door of heaven.” Do you believe that any part of eternal salvation must be earned by us, in the sense that we must keep commandments and perform good works? Conversely, do you think the failure to perform will prevent us from receiving eternal life?

Do you believe that the presence of the Father and the Son is achieved only in the “highest level” of heaven that you mentioned?

I see YOU as a false”prophet”,the evil one and someone anyone with any sense should straight up RUN from!!! YOU ARE THE DEVIL in sheeps clothing–I’ll pray for your TRUE deliverance.u need it.Dang! I’m thankful I’m not your child or wife–you’re deadly!!

    • Frieda says:

Sharon all I want to say to you is AMEN!!!! Thank you for standing up and speaking the truth, something that is totally foriegn to this web site. When it is spoken these people don’t like it and get really a little hostile. I don’t know what your religious affiliation is and it really doesn’t matter, we all should be more tolerant of religious differences as long as they are not being forced upon us or we are made to feel lke we are being threatened. What is the reason behind persecuted the Mormon faith, we certainly don’t spend time persecuting the other religions. Instead if you were to attend our church meetings, or even go to the official church website, all you would learn about is the Church’s teachings of the Savior and how important He is in our life. Isn’t that what we christians are supposed to do?

  4. Michael says:

No Mormons are NOT Christians and this is one major reason why Christians should reject Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination. Mitt Romney is not only a Mormon but has supported tax payer money to Planned ParentHood abortions. Our faith as Christians is in Jesus Christ and the Bible alone, Mormons also go by the book of Mormons which does NOT line up with the Bible. Scripture warns us that if anyone adds to this book God will add the plagues described in this book and if anyone passes off another Gospel (other than the Bible) let that person be cursed. Our Lord Jesus Christ makes it very clear and as Christians we shouldn’t compromise our values. Jesus said if we are luke warm he will spit us out.

    • Frieda says:

Michael: You have shown your true ignorance and narrow-mindedness in your comment. According to the Webster’s Dictionary, the word “Christian means follower of Christ”. Mormons are indeed Christian just as much you profess to be. Just because they don’t accept the teachings that you so blindly follow does not make them any less Christians. In fact they are probably better christians than you, because they don’t spend time trying to tear down other religions as people such as yourself. Remember the Savior (read the bible again) states that we should not judge lest we be judged. No one has ordained you to be the judge and you are going to heap these unfair judgement upon your own head. Also remember the story of the aduteress, ” Ye who are without sin let him cast the first stone.”

As for Mitt Romney, obviously religion wasn’t an important subject when people voted for Obama and look what he has done to our country. 4 more years of him will destroy our country and Governor Romney is a good, decent, honest man, who loves his country, his lord and savior, his family, and will do a magnificent job to restore this land to the greatness it once was. I trust in the Lord that He will lead and direct the righteous to make the right decisions in this next election. You need to drop to your knees and ask for forgiveness for your own sins and ask God to guide and direct you in your choice for president. Instead of listening to all the “hate” information Satan is trying to spread.
