Questions Every Mormon Should Ask Part 2 – What Do Mormons Believe about the Bible and the Book of Mormon?

Watch the JA Show

The Book of Mormon has absolutely no archaeological support and includes a wide variety of historical inaccuracies. Even though it claims to be the word-for-word translation Joseph Smith received by revelation, there have been 3,913 changes in the Book of Mormon. Why all the changes? And if the Book of Mormon was actually translated from gold plates that existed centuries before Christ (586 BC-421 AD), how did it include exact King James Version Bible citations? Why do we find 18 chapters of the book of Isaiah in it? In this session, we’ll hear former Mormons expose these problems while showing that it is the Bible, not The Book of Mormon, which is truly inspired by God. We’ll also see some of the concerns that helped these individuals begin to question Mormon beliefs and later convert to Christianity.

Oh Frieda! Please do your research. Your posting is nothing less than a cut & paste from an LDS site. Don’t put that kind of propaganda on this site, nor try to pass your church info off as factual. The “church” of the LDS is a “Corporation”, they have a vested interest in keeping members “in” by putting on blinders to biblical truth, research, and archeology, and thus keep the truth out. Search it out, god will lead the way.

FREIDA, JOE SMITH WAS ON DRUGS WHEN SATAN BRAIN WASHED HIM INTO BELIEVING THE MORMON CRAP. ASK YOURSELF THIS FREIDA, WHY WAS LUCIFER KICKED OUT OF HEAVEN ALONG WITH 1/3 OF THE ANGELES? BECAUSE HE LUCIFER, THE BRIGHT MORNING STAR, WANTED TO BE ”GOD”. NOW MORMONS HAVE DRANK THE WINE OF SATAN AND BELIEVE THEY TO CAN BECOME A god WITH THEIR OWN PLANET AND PEOPLE WHO WORSHIP THEM AS god. YOU’RE HEADED FOR HELL FREIDA, RREPENT AND FOLLOW THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD,,,,”JESUS”…….

That answer is almost hysterical, if it wasn’t so stupid. I don’t believe drugs were even an issue during the 1800′s. Have you ever wondered why God would choose a 14 year old boy who was humbly searching for direction in which church to join. Isn’t that something that we all should be doing? Or do you have to be on drugs to do such a thing? I personally have never done any drugs, nor have I ever even smoked a cigarette, and when I was in high school, I was always the designated driver, because I didn’t drink, and guess what, I wasn’t even a mormon, yet!!! So when the time came for me to seek out a religious affiliation to follow, and I searched out several. The Lord through the power of the Holy Ghost testified to me that the Mormon faith was indeed the fcorrect place for me to be. I have contantly recieved confirmation of that decision for 40 years now. Maybe you should re-think this crazy reasoning you have.

I appreciate your concern about my eternal well-being, but I know where I am striving for and my Lord and Savior will welcome me with open arms when the time comes, if I continue to follow his example and in spite of the ignorance of people and their judgemental remarkes, I will not allow myself to be misdirected off my path. May God bless you and humble you to the truth.

You don’t need to tell me to do my research, because I have, and I have also, asked God to guide and direct me to where I am today. I thank you for the compliment regarding my statement about the church, I hope to always share the Church’s message and be accurate. The problem with people today is the same problem that existed with the people in Noah’s time. They were so close-minded, carnal, wickedness and prideful, that they would not listen to his warnings either, and we all know what happened to them. I am so thankful to know that we have a prophet today to guide and direct us in all things and that I can feel safe and secure. As for my church’s vested interest, Thank God for it! My church’s only concern is to bring man back to God and offer us exaltation. I have asked God many times, maybe you need to open your heart and your mind and put your won advice to the true test. But if you are so set that you already know it all, I am sure that even if God tried to tell you, you wouldn’t hear Him. I will pray for you to humble yourself and go to the Lord for guidance and direction.
