DAY 3 – COMPASSION FOR THE DAY
As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him… Psalm 103:15
Father, thank You for Your great compassion Lord. I pray today for my dad to be compassionate. I pray love and kindness will pour forth from him. I thank You that I have been the recipient of his compassion so many times in my life. Would You grant him wisdom today as he seeks to guide our family and as he interacts with those around him. I pray for Your compassion to flow freely through him to others. Bless him richly today O Lord. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Father, thank You for Your great compassion. Help my grandfather to be compassionate today. I pray love and kindness will pour forth from him. Thank You for the compassion he has extended to our family over the years. I pray You would give him wisdom with his time and opportunities. Would You enable him to extend compassion freely today and would You bless him richly? In Jesus’ Name, Amen
For Children and Grandchildren:
Father, I pray today that my children and grandchildren will be compassionate with others. I pray love and kindness will pour forth from them. Teach them, O God, to fear You above all things. Give them an awareness of Your great compassion toward them. Would You enable them to extend compassion today? Open their eyes to the compassion they have received from You and from others today and look for opportunities to extend it to those they interact with. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
