A John Ankerberg Show viewer asks: “Please explain the changes to the biblical requirements for baptism the organization made. How does the following line up with Matthew 28:19? ‘Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with God’s spirit-directed organization? Having answered yes to these questions, candidates are in a right heart condition to undergo Christian baptism.'”
Matthew 28 instructed the disciples to baptize in the name (singular) of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The organization, on the other hand, is, as you have pointed out, baptizing their followers into the organization. In doing so they are directing allegiance to the organization that is due only to God.
