A John Ankerberg Show viewer asks: “What are the key things to say to a Jehovah’s Witness when witnessing to them?”
This is a difficult question as unlike the uniformity in their teaching, each JW is a different individual and are Jehovah’s Witnesses for different reasons. The most important thing to share would be your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That is not something a Jehovah’s Witness can hope for. Second, studying what they teach as compared with sound biblical teaching as well as what their organization has claimed down through the decades gives you several options. Asking questions is better than making assertions. Being kind while engaging them is important. They take adversarial encounters as “being persecuted for righteousness sake.”
